ANIMATION
I am currently working on growing a career in digital animation. Here and above are links to my animation videos page. Digital animation is the process of creating animated content using computers and digital software, encompassing both 2D and 3D animation. It leverages computer-generated graphics to produce moving images, often relying on principles similar to traditional animation while offering increased efficiency and creative flexibility. I compose my own music for my digital animations and I capture my own photography for many of my animations using my drone.
I studied Digital Animation at Diablo Valley College with Professor Chris Carter.
Here is an animation I created in Prof. Carter's class.
Digital animation comprises different computer animation techniques. Adobe has software specifically for Digital Animation, but the two below are the ones I use:
- Adobe After Effects. Adobe After Effects is a powerful software used for creating motion graphics, visual effects, and 2D and 3D animations. It's widely used in film, TV, video games, and online content creation. After Effects allows users to animate images, design 3D scenes, and apply various visual effects. .
- Adobe Animate. Adobe Animate is a software application used for creating vector-based animations and interactive content, formerly known as Adobe Flash Professional. It allows users to design animations for various platforms, including web, games, and mobile applications. Animate can be used to create cartoons, banner ads, and interactive elements for the web.
